I’m pretty sure we can all agree that the 90’s was the golden era of hip hop. It’s important that every urban clothing company still trace its roots. So I present to you the Gas Face tee by Fli Pelican clothing, Givin Haters the Gas Face since 1980. The company, run by a bunch of “90’s” kids, is taking this shirt back, drawing inspiration from the classic, politically charged hit “The Gas Face” by 3rd Base. This shirt is available now in a variety of colorways including 2 shirts to match the aqua 8’s.

To contact Fli Pelican about purchasing clothing or upcoming drops you can email mums@tmail.com or empirebeats@gmail.com. Retail is $20 per shirt.

Check out www.flipelican.blogspot.com for updates as well.

New underground clothing line “Fli Pelican” will be releasing a type of story line of clothing. The company is designed around the idea of the Fli Pelican- Fli representing being above the qualms of the world, and the Pelican being a bird that represents normalcy and the average person.

The story line will consist of shirts featuring characters that the Pelican meets along its journey, which will be followed by a comic book detailing and illustrating the actual story behind all of the shirts. The first shirt pictured is the “Sneaker Fiend” tee, and the second is the “Love Is.. Too Damn Complicated” tee.

Here are two of the first shirts, which will debut in Atlanta-area stores around the holiday season. Shirts can also be purchased starting now for $20 a piece by emailing mums@tmail.com or empirebeats@gmail.com. Each is limited to only 50 pieces so make sure to stay updated on the company’s releases.

More to come from Fli Pelican soon, including halloween sweatshirts and New Era colabs.

ThinkGeek Wi-Fi Detector Shirt

October 14, 2007 · Written By: Nobody - 0 Comments

Now normally, I wouldn’t waste my time or yours writing about something this stupid, but this is just too classic to pass up. Technology company “ThinkGeek” has released a shirt that detects Wi-Fi signal and displays it on the front of the shirt.

Why someone would wear this shirt, I have no clue, but the weirdo in me has me somewhat drawn to it. Here is what the geniuses at ThinkGeek had to say about the shirt:

“Here at ThinkGeek we’re pretty lazy when it comes to technology. We expect our gadgets to do all the busywork while we focus on the high level important tasks like reading blogs. That’s why we hate to have to crack open our laptops just to see if there is any wi-fi internet access about… and keychain wi-fi detectors, we would have to actually remove them from our pockets to look at them. But now thanks to the ingenious ThinkGeek robot monkeys you can display the current wi-fi signal strength to yourself and everyone around you with this stylish Wi-Fi Detector Shirt. The glowing bars on the front of the shirt dynamically change as the surrounding wi-fi signal strength fluctuates. Finally you can get the attention you deserve as others bow to you as their reverential wi-fi god, while geeky chicks swoon at your presence. You can thank us later. ”

If you want your nerd-chick magnet, it’s available for $29.99 at www.thinkgeek.com.
