Air Jordan 25th Anniversary T-Shirts

One of the biggest advantages to Jordan Brand coming about in 1997 was the fact it allowed Michael Jordan to build an empire around much more then just sneakers. Athletic apparel and sporting accessories were all eventually introduced under the Jordan Brand umbrella, as were articles of clothing such as hoodies, jackets and hats.
As many company’s do these days, the Brand started producing specially designed t-shirts to accompany certain releases, giving those who bought the sneakers the option of scooping up the perfect tee to match. With 25years of Air Jordan history and Jordan Brand being extremely excited about their 25th Anniversary Collection, they’ve put together a lineup of t-shirts to match the shoes in the lineup.
We aren’t quite sure if the t-shirts will be US bound, although we hope so, but we do know they’ll become available on March 20th at Nike Harajuku. Don’t hold out on us JB, the Air Jordan heads in the States need these!
Unusual G.e.N.e.S. “Stay Flippin Pennys” Tee

The highly anticipated releases in the game have been known to inspire people. From artist’s displaying their love for a certain sneaker in the form of a drawing, painting or a digital design, to streetwear brand’s who counter the releases with specially designed t-shirts to coordinate with the sneakers. The Copper Foamposites are one of those very shoes. They’ve caused numerous brands to brainstorm and work up designs in which consumers rock with their kicks, and with the Copper Foams being a sneaker which a lot of people have said is hard to match something with, it’s probably a good thing tees to match them keep popping up.
We’ve taken a look at a few designs in the past and here we have anything known as the “Stay Flippin Pennys” by Unusual G.e.N.e.S.. Available in black, and in sizes medium through 3XL at Vault, the t-shirt consists of a Mickey Mouse like hand/glove flipping pennys with the message “Stay Flipping Pennys” printed in white and copper lettering.
If you’re still looking for something to rock with your Nike Air Foamposite One Copper’s consider the “Stay Flippin Pennys” tee by Unusual G.e.N.e.S. which is once again available at Vault.
Glow-In-The-Dark Copper & Eggplant Foamposite Tees by Giggs

The Copper and Eggplant Foamposites get people as excited, if not more excited then any other sneaker, maybe even more so then the Space Jams. We’ve seen a few t-shirts so far dedicated to the Foams and now Giggs, real name Nick, has presented us with a look at some custom tees he put together to honor two of his favorite sneakers. The t-shirts, which consists of a Black base feature a large Penny logo painted on the front with either a Metallic Copper color filling in the logo or an Metallic Eggplant. A touch of Grey glow in the dark paint outlines the logo and takes on a Teal glow at night breathing all new life into the shirt. Giggs tells us he used that shade of color around the logo to resemble the icey clear outsole on the Foams.
The photo above obviously only displays the glow in the dark feature so make sure you click here to check out photos of both shirts. There’s also a shot of a personal tee which Giggs did for himself which uses a carbon fiber outline around the logo. If you’re interested in either of the two you can get em now through Giggs’ eBay store for $30 a pop.
Yote City Make Cents Eggplant Tee

You didn’t think Yote City only made a Copping Pennys Would Only Make Cents Tee for the Copper Foams did ya? Now that wouldn’t make sense, which is why Yote City has followed up with a t-shirt to go along with your Eggplant Foams. Whether you have a pair already or plan on getting your first pair when they release as a retro again on March 6th, you defiantly need to scoop up this tee to go along with em. The Copping Penny’s Would Only Make Cents message is obviously printed in an Eggplant color to match the foams as is the Yote City “YC” logo on the sleeve stylized to resemble Penny’s logo.
You can get this Eggplant one and the Copper one either through Vault or Yote City’s webstore in sizes Small-3XL for a price of $25. A look at the entire shirt follows after the jump.
Yote City “Copping Penny’s Would Only Make Cents” T-Shirt

If you scooped up the Copper Foamposites last weekend and can’t really decide on what to wear with the sneakers Yote City has just the thing for you, the “Copping Penny’s Would Only Make Cents” T-shirt. The black shirt features the message “Copping Penny’s Would Only Make Cents” printed across the chest in bold copper lettering with a Yote City logo inspired by Penny’s signature logo on the sleeve (although it may be on the back neck). We showed you the Worth Every Penny T-shirt produced by Nike back in January and many of you said you were gonna try and get your hands on one so if you were unable to you may wanna hit up Vault now and get this Yote City tee as an alternative. You can ask em if they got any of the Worth Every Penny tee’s left as well.
