Bape x Spongebob Croc-Skin Bapesta
Posted up on the BBC Blog were these pictures of Pharell, also known as Skateboard P, rocking a pair of yellow Bapestas. They arent just any Bapestas though as you can probably see by the picture and the description of this post. The Bape Bapesta is finished in what looks to be real croc-skin which has been dyed yellow. Thats not just it though, to take it a step further and include one of Pharells favorite characters into the design the face of Spongebob was added to the heel.
No word has been announced on whether or not these Bape Bapestas will be released to the public at any point but we would believe the answer to that would be no. Just another pair for Pharell to add to his personal collection of kicks we will never ever get our hands on. A full size shot follow after the jump. BTW, what the hell is Pharell doing on a bus? Dont tell me the economy is THAT BAD.
BAPE ‘Skullsta’ Sneakers
This past weekend the newly designed BAPE Skullsta shoes were released. The design of the sneakers is clearly inspired by the classic Shell-Toe Adidas as you can tell by the styling of the front of the shoes with its shell-toe inspired toe. The Skullsta was released in three very simple colorways, one of which has a tonal all white design, another which is white/black and the third being black/white. The BAPE star logo is included on the side of the upper while the tongue has an image of the BAPE Ape.

BAPE Bapesta88 – Spring ‘09 Releases
Recently BAPE released a couple new Bapesta88 shoes in both the high-top and low-top models. Featuring the use of red, yellow, blue and white the Bapesta88 sneakers surely do fit right in with your usual bright vibrant Bape sneakers which many have come to know the company for. For each model, the high-top and low-top, BAPE put together 2 colorways using a mix of the colors.

Bape x Isetan Bapesta
Just in time for the Christmas Season Bape and Isetan come through with a new collaboration on a pair of Bapesta sneakers for all the Bathing Ape fans out there. These Bapestas include a red outsole, green midsole and yellow laces to match the Bape x Isetan pattern displayed on the upper. This is one of the many products which Bape and Isetan, a high end fashion retailer in Japan, have collaborated on to celebrate the 5yr Anniversary of Bape and the 75th Anniversary of Isetan.

BAPE Bapesta88 – Metallic Silver & Gold
BAPE never gives up with the metallic silver and gold colorways, as you can see here with these new Bapesta88 sneakers. BAPE released the Bapesta88 in a high and low model both in a either a flashy metallic silver or gold colorway. You can pick up either model now at BAPE retailers around the globe. Bapesta 88 Track Pack
New to be added to the Bape footwear collection is the Bapesta 88 Track Pack. The sneakers take inspiration from the wall/winter season with their dark neutral colors, as well as hiking shoes and boots as you can tell by the boot style laces.
