Nike Air Max

Sole Collector x Nike Air Max Trainer 1

When the crew at Sole Collector get involved in a collaboration the final outcome is usually always dope. The last Sole Collector collaboration we took a look at involved a Nike Air Penny II Retro, and now we have some shots of their latest project with Nike, this time on the Air Max Trainer 1.

When Nick DePaula from Sole Collector was presented with the chance to collaborate on the Trainer 1 he says “there was no way I couldn’t look to the kicks that started it all for me as an inspiration.” Therefore Nick took ques from the original Air Trainer SC II in the White/Cement Grey/Aquamarine/Citron colorway that Bo wore in the original print ads and commercials. Instead of doing an exact replica though of the original colorway Nick swapped it around and used the accent colors from the Air Trainer SC II as the base colors on the Sole Collector x Nike Air Max Trainer 1. Adding there own little personal touch to it is a pair of tongue tags which read “Sole Knows” in tribute to the hugely popular “Bo Knows” campaign. Another nice detail on the sneakers is a graphic of the original Air Trainer SC II included on the backside of the tongue tag.

Unfortunately the Sole Collector x Nike Air Max Trainer 1 will not be releasing on a public level, which is a shame since these may just be one of the dopest Air Max Trainer 1 colorups, in my opinion atleast. Click here to take a closer look at the sneakers and let us know what you think.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Phantom – Available Now

air-max-lebron-vii-black-phantom

It’s official folks, the Nike Air Max LeBron VII ‘Phantom’ is now available through select Nike retailers. We originally took a peek of this model at the end of October and as you should know by now the blacked out design with the subtle gold hits is inspired by the black Rolls Royce Phantom in which LeBron owns. To tell you the truth i wasn’t a big fan of the white/red/black color scheme, it just didn’t work for me, the white/navy was pretty dope, but this black on black colorup is right in my neck of the woods and by far the best so far in terms on general releases in my personal opinion. Don’t forget about the Nike Air Max LeBron VII ‘Christmas’ either, from what we hear that should be dropping real soon too.

Nike Air Max T-Zone – Black/Black

Nike is still on that “all black everything” tip, recently releasing a slew of different models consisting of completely black colorups. One of the latest is this version of the Nike Air Max T-Zone, a sneaker which at first i particularly wasn’t to fond of but instantly became a fan of when i tried a pair on for the first time. The T-Zone features a murdered out finishes from top to bottom with a textured material on part of the upper which sort of resembles reptile skin.

Get em now at Finishline for $100 and click here to check out a few more pics of the sneakers.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Grey/Orange Sample

Last night G-Roc from TSG threw a 3yr Anniversary party at Nike Lenox in the ATL which played host to a grip of giveaways, including this very special pair of Air Max Lebron VII shoes which have yet to be put into production for the public. Mayor, a well known figure in the sneaker community who you should all know was kind enough to bring out the samples and give them away to 1 lucky winner of the night.

These smooth looking Nike Air Max LeBron VII’s sport a nicely done grey/orange color scheme which features grey patent leather around the grey/orange Flywire, with orange on the two Nike Swoosh’s, the one of the lateral side of the upper outlined in white. The LeBron James logo and medallion are also done up in orange, as is the outsole, Air Max unit, laces and trim along the tongue and heel. Finishing up the sneakers is a pure white mid-sole.

No word on when, or if these Air Max Lebron VII’s will ever be released but if that changes we will be sure to let you know. Until then click here to check out a few more photos of the sneakers.

Nike Air Max 95 Cool Grey/Neon Yellow – Re-Release in 2010

nike-air-max-95-cool-grey-neon-yellow

It’s official folks. The Nike Air Max 95 Cool Grey/Neon Yellow will be getting re-releases next year in 2010, possibly as a limited releases according to the rumor mill. This version of the AM 95 which originally released a few years ago features an upper made up from hues of cool grey and black with white used on the mesh, tongue and inner lining. Accenting the sneakers are hits of neon yellow on the lace loops, Nike Swoosh and within the visible air unit. Given the huge following of trainers, and the popularity of these sneakers during their first initial release, it’s best to believe once they arrive at retailers they wont last long, specially if they are indeed shipped in limited quanities.

No official release date has been announced at this for this time for the Nike Air Max 95 Cool Grey/Neon Yellow but sources seem to suggest the sneakers as a Spring 2010 release, with a possibility of hitting retailers as early as January.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII ‘X-Mas’

lebron-vii-xmas-christmas

In honor of what is known as the biggest holiday of the year LeBron James and Nike have put together the Air Max LeBron VII ‘X-Mas’. Instead of the usual Christmas-esque color scheme of green/red this version of the LeBron 7 makes use of a black/red colorway in a gradient style which uses a small touch of green which could almost be over looked. The lower half the sneakers are entirely red which slowly starts to fade to black going up towards the ankle. Black leather trim is used around the flywire which consists of red contrast stitching. The insoles feature a photo of LeBron James as a kid during Christmas which just so happens to be a photo once seen on a pair insoles from a LeBron 6.

To understanding the Nike Air Max LeBron VII ‘X-Mas’ will release on December 25th, 2009 as a limited release only through NikeStore.com. Once this is confirmed further we will be sure to let you know. Until then click here to check out a few more shots of the sneakers and visit MarqueeSole now if your interested in picking up a sz 9.5.
