DQM x Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache

As you should know by now Nike has this on going rivalry theme which takes numerous streetwear shops from both the East and West Coast and has them design various sneakers in an attempt to create somewhat of a friendly rivalry. For awhile now we have been featuring Dunks and Air Force Ones part of the rivalry theme but those arent the only models which shops have been working on as seen here with these images of a Nike Air Max 90 Current Huarache designed by Daves Quality Meat.

The Air Max 90 Current Huarache doesnt carry any DQM branding to make you aware the shop has designed these but they do use signature graphics as well as the signature ‘Bacon’ colorway which any DQM fan will notice from the get-go. The sneakers sport a brown suede upper, light pink on the Nike Swoosh and tonge tag branding, and off-white on the toe and around the ankle. The brown Huarache heel strap features a faux flywire design in red and the tongue is constructed from brown neoprene.

When the Halloween season rolls around Nike is known to always come through with a lineup of releases to celebrate the holiday. This year will be no different then previous years with Halloween themed sneakers dropping for the guys, girls and kids. One of the packs which Nike will be dropping next month in October is the ‘Day of The Dead’ Pack. If you recall this is not the first time Nike has incorporated the Day of The Dead theme into a pair of sneakers. A few years ago back in 2006 Nike SB released the Day of The Dead SB Dunks which were quite a popular seller. These sneakers however carry a different design then those released 3 years ago.

The Nike ‘Day of The Dead’ Pack consists of three sneakers; a Nike Dunk Low, a Dunk High and an Air Max 90. Each of the three sneakers in the pack feature bold graphics throughout the uppers with the Dunk High and AM 90 in a purple/black/green color scheme and the Dunk Low in a white/purple/green colorway. There also a slight hint of orange worked into each model.

The Nike ‘Day of The Dead’ Pack will be dropping as a Quickstrike release and will only be available at select Nike retailers on October 24th 2009. Via: Frank The Butcher

The Nike Air Max LeBron VII has not even officially released yet and already the hype surrounding the sneakers is unbelievable. LeBron fans and Nike Basketball fans have defiantly proven by their comments on forums and videos on YouTube that the Air Max LeBron VII may just be the most sought after signature Lebron James sneakers to be released so far.

Since Nike knows they have a winner on their hands you can best believe we will be blessed with a lineup of colorways of the LeBron VII as well as a low cut design seen here. The Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low is of course molded after its mid top brother however the sneakers do have a minor difference. The full length Max Air unit has been swapped for a slightly smaller unit which takes up just about 3/4ths of the sneakers.

The youth Air Max 90 has a black leather base which is slightly accented with a touch of pink on the Nike Swoosh, Nike branding on the heel and within the visible air unit. The black mudguard on the Air Max 90 features tiny white/silver stars which is something we have noticed on more then a few youth releases coming out soon.
