Nike Air Max ST LE ‘Black Safari’

When it comes to the Air Max series a safari pattern has been a repeating pattern for the shoes within the collection for years. No matter how many times it’s done it just seems like Air Max fans, and Nike included, just can’t get enough of the safari designs. With the “all black everything” look going hard right now it only made sense to bless us with a pair of blacked out Air Max ST LE’s using the much loved safari print. A combo of suede and mesh are used throughout the upper with the black safari print on the black leather mudguard.
Can’t say i am the biggest fan of the Air Max ST LE but if you are and your on that all black everything tip you can get these now at Finishline for $95.
Nike Air Max 97X ‘Metallic Silver’ – December 2009

This is defiantly some of the best news i have heard all day today. Next month in December Nike will be reissuing the Air Max 97 in the ever popular metallic silver and varsity red color scheme. Ever since their original release back in 97 the metallic silver Air Max 97 has been a popular item among Air Max fans, fetching quite a few dollars for OG models on eBay. In 2005 the sneakers made an appearance as a retro and instantly sold out just like they did in 97. However, the version released in 2005 did not fetch as high of prices as the 97 model due to the fact the air bubbles were not as supportive as the originals. Hopefully with this release that slight mishap has been fixed and we will once again get the metallic silver Air Max 97’s as if they were straight from 1995.

For this particular version of the LeBron 7 the sneakers use white leather on the toe and bottom half of the sneakers with black being used for the Flywire and trim surrounding the flywire, which by the way happens to look like nubuck. The Nike Swoosh is finished off in white with a gold outline to accompany the gold lace holders, LeBron James “L23″ logo and LeBron James “L23″ medallion.

Nike Air Max ST ‘Black Safari’

Here’s further proof to the whole ‘all black everything’ look making a heavy comeback. Adding to a list of recently released all black sneakers comes the the Air Max ST ‘Black Safari’. The safari pattern has become a major addition the the Air Max lineup and its no surprise really that Nike has come through with an entirely black safari Air Max. Besides for the tonal safari pattern adding as much contrast as possible to an all black shoe, Nike constructed the upper from a combo of mesh and sued with rubber on the Nike Swoosh.
According to HighSnobiety the Nike Air Max ST ‘Black Safari’ is slated for a December 2009 release as a quickstrike. If we hear any further details about the sneakers we will be sure to keep you in the loop.

Do to the entirely black finish on the Lebron 7 many have dubbed this version the Phantom, a nod to the all black Rolls-Royce Phantom Lebron James has. This version of the Lebron uses an entirely white design made up from perforated leather, patent leather and quilted leather. Features such as the gold Lebron 23 medallion and the gum outsole really pop off the all white base.
