250 Pair Sneaker Collection for sale on Ebay
Do you just so happen to have 70,000 dollars sitting around to spend on sneakers? Probably not but believe it or not some people do as shown in this ebay auction for 250 pairs of sneakers here. There are over 60 bids and the highest (at the time of posting this) is $70,000. The sneaker collection contains of boat load of Dunks, SB Dunks, Jordans, Air Max, Blazers and a few other assorted models. There are also a lot of rare and limited edition sneakers scattered throughout the collection. All the sneakers are a size 10US and are in DS condition with the original boxes and tissue still in the shoes. Theres no telling if the highest bidder at this time is a legit bid or not but theres about a day and a half left so im sure we will see even a higher bid before this all ends. Nike Air Force One ‘Im In Chains’ Customs for Jay-Z
Yesterday i told you about how Qustom Queen met up with Memphis Bleek over in the UK and showed you a pic of the Paradise Nike Dunks which the female artist designed for him. Besides for Memphis Bleek a pair was also done for the man himself, Mr. Jigga Jay-Z. Sadly Jay couldnt make it to meet up with Qustom Queen in the flesh, so the sneakers were passed off to Bleek who delivered them to Jay later on in the night. The customs shown above for Jay-Z are known as the ‘Im In Chains’ Air Force Ones. I think the gold panels and swoosh give these a nice touch of class and the chains add just enough to catch your attention without being boring. Memphis Bleek relayed the word to Qustom Queen that Jay said he really liked the idea of the sneakers and thought she was talented at what she does. Needless to say this sort of gassed the Queen up, who is a Bleek and Jay-Z fan to begin with. I mean, how often does Jigga tell you that your talent? Nike Air Force One ‘Twins’ Customs
Above is a pair of Custom Air Force Ones which have been designed for two-time All-Star and 2006 AL batting champion Joe Mauer. Joe happens to be a fellow sneakerhead who has a personal collection of well over 50 AF1’s. Being big into Air Force Ones Joe reached out to JGoods to have him design the most exclusive pair of AF1s that will grace his collection. The crew tossed around some ideas for awhile and tried to figure out what would be the best route to go that would include Joes favorite color baby blue. The idea to use the Twins throwback colors came to mind seeing as how the old colors included baby blue with subtle touches of red, white and blue. The way JGoods laid out the design is pretty dope and really gives you that Twins throwback vibe. The red, white and blue stripes around the toe box and mid panel are killer and give the sneakers such a smooth look in my opinion. The number 7, which Joe wears on the field was added to the heel in red and outlined in white. The designing doesnt stop there though. A pair of custom insoles were made in which JGoods added the Twins logo along with the number 7 again. As if that wasnt enough JGoods then went on to add his very own custom made tags which show two baseball players wearing JGoods jerseys and Dunks with the words “JGoods Custom Sneakers’ written above them. Theres also a little message included on the back of the tags which gave me a little chuckle. Get The Barack Obama Custom AF1 Now!!
I know for a fact a ton of you are feeling the Barack Obama Custom Air Force Ones. The comments and emails speak for themselves. Well, for all of you who were dying to get your hands on em heres your chance. Van Taylor who designed the Obama Sneakers has donated them to Charitybuzz.com for a charity auction benefiting Russell Simmons’ Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. The Obama sneakers are one of the most popular designs in Vans collection and he generously donated them to Charitybuzz to help out with this auction. At the time of posting this the current bid is $450 and i personally believe they will go for a lot more then that. Expect high prices for these bad boys. Nike Air Force One ‘Regalia Elephantus’ Customs
The Starscream presents us with his new Custom Air Force Ones known as ‘The Regalia Elephantus’. Using an Air Force One with a perforated mid panel The Starscream went on to add an elephant print pattern to the frontal and heel pattern. This is the first time The Starscream has ever given an elephant print pattern a crack and i have to say the design is pretty cool. Although it may not exactly resemble what your use to seeing when it comes to an elephant pattern the design creates its own sense of style which makes it unique in its own sense. The elephant pattern combined with the perforated mid panel and subtle touches of red that were included on the base sneaker gives these customs a nice look overall. Mannie McFly Hyperforce AF1s
Just the other day i was talking about EmmanueLabor when i posted his Custom Tear Away Nike Vandals which were designed for the 05′ NBA All Star Game and mentioning how i was waiting until he dropped a fresh new pair of custom sneakers. Well here we are 3 days after that post with a brand new custom from EmmanueLabor. Since the Nike Air McFly Hyperdunks are a much sought after item and very hard to get your hands on EmmaueLabor figured he would go about creating his own, with the EmmaueLabor twist of course. These are called the Mannie MyFly Hyperforce 1s and before anybody asks ‘Whos Mannie’ lets get it straight from the get go. EmmanueLabor is known by the nickname Mannie by alot of people, so instead of Marty McFly you now have Mannie McFly. It has a ring to it. The speckle design on the original McFly Hyperdunks is found on the sole but here EmmanueLabor decided to lay it down on the lace panel and heel tab instead. The tongue has been stitched up in white mesh and there has also been a pair of tongue tags added which are almost an exact duplicate to the original tags on the McFly Hyperdunks. Not an exact match but about as close to the originals as anybody is going to get. To finish off the whole design EmmanueLabor made some custom panels for the upper to carry the same grid design as the Hyperdunk. Personally speaking i feel like something is missing, but at the same time i could see myself rockin these in a heart beat. EmmanueLabor always knowns how to catch your attention and thats actually what hes done right here with these Air Force Ones Hyperforce 1s. While doing these EmmanueLabor decided he wasnt really 100% pleased with the way they were coming out and had noticed where he could of improved the overal design so instead of scrapping the work he put into these already he decided he would make a pair of Mannie McFly Dunks as well.
