Ebay Find: Kaws x Nike 1World Air Force 1
The highly sought after Kaws x Nike 1World Air Force 1 is currently available on ebay through an auction put on by Bridgefootwear. I know a lot of folks were dying to get a pair of these, including myself, and was rather bummed when they heard it was a friends and family only release. Bridgefootwear, which is a very respectable shop, decided to offer a pair up for auction on EBay for all those sneaker collectors to slug it out for, err bid it out. Currently at the time of posting this the Kaws x Nike 1World Air Force 1 has 6 bids and is sitting at a $800. Check out the auction here.
Obama Force One By Jimm Lasser
Already we have presented 2 custom sneakers designed after US Senator, and Presidential Candidate Barack Obama, and now we have a 3rd to add to the collection. Here we feature the ‘Obama Force One‘ which is the creation of artist Jimm Lasser. Jimm opened up his art exhibition yesterday in New York and the Obama Force One was one of the many highlights of the show. Jimm gave the all white Nike Air Force Ones a make over with a design that includes 2 portraits of Barack Obama on the sole, which by the way is an added piece. I like the recessed design that Jimm used to create the Obama images, gives the design a nice effect but personally speaking im not feeling the added piece to the sole. The left sneaker also says “A Black Man Runs And A Nation Is Behind Him”. Barack Obama’s picture was added in the insole as well. Daisuke Matsuzaka x Nike 1World Air Force 1
Continuing with the 1World Project Nike has released an image of the 6th pair of Air Force Ones to be added to the 1World Collection. The design on the Air Force One is a collaboration between Nike and Daisuke Matsuzaka a.k.a. Dice K from the Boston Red Sox. Instead of going with a design inspired by the team he plays for, or something baseball related, Daisuke Matsuzaka went with a layout somewhat inspired by his Japanese heritage. On the heel panel, lace tab and tongue Daisuke went with an orange dragon-like leather material with white pony hair on the frontal, mid-panel, and heel panel. Also included into the Air Force One is an image of a dragon on the heel. I cant wait to see what else will be released for the Nike 1World Collection. Nike Air Force 180 Olympics
Nike has released several sneaker models as of lately with colorways inspired by the most recent Olympics or previous ones. One of the latest to be released are these Nike Air Force 180 shoes. These shoes are said to be a House Of Hoops exclusive and designed after a Team U.S.A. Charles Barkley jersey from when Sir Charles was on the Dream Team during the Barcelona Olympics. The Air Force 180 includes a classic USA colorway with white/navy/metallic silver/team red. You can pick them up online now at LTD Online.
Nike Air Force 1 Playstation Wallpaper
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Playstation sneakers are some of my most favorite Air Force Ones. Sadly though, i was unable to get my hands on a pair, as were many other sneakerheads. Since their official release in 2005 the Playstations are still a very sought after AF1. Many people who own a pair have no intentions of getting rid of them anytime soon. For all of you who love the Playstation Air Force Ones like me and never got your hands on a pair, heres the closet thing we will get, a detailed wallpaper. Nike Air Force 1 - Closing Ceremonies
Nike has put together these Nike Air Force Ones dedicated to the closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympic games which ended last night on the 24th of August. The Closing Ceremonies Air Force Ones have a completely metallic gold upper which includes the use of Chinese inspired designs throughout. The The laces, lining and tongue tag are black. The Air Force One Closing Ceremonies will also come in a black box which displays 08/08/08 on it. Release date is scheduled for August 25th.
