DJ Premier x Nike Air Force 1 Low

dj-premier-nike-air-force-1

The first time we found out of DJ Premier working with Nike was back in August when DJ AM passed away. Premier went on the radio to speak a little about AM and the upcoming collaboration with Nike they were both working on. We have since seen the DJ AM x Nike Dunk High and now we are blessed with some images of the DJ Premier x Nike Air Force 1 thanks to Dunk.cn. For his version of the Air Force 1 DJ Premier dressed the shoes up in a color combo of black, dark green and dark blue with an upper sporting a mixture of what looks to be premium leather, nubuck and some sort of textured material on the mid-panels and heel tab. Subtle contrast stitching in orange accents the upper along with a hit of white on the Nike Swoosh. Lased engraved onto the heel of the sneakers is DJ Premier’s calling with “DJ” on the heel of the left sneaker and “Premier” on the heel of the right sneaker. Premier also appears on the lace locks and on the lace tips of the white and black laces included with the sneakers. Wrapping up the DJ Premier x Nike Air Force 1 is a translucent outsole featuring a repeating design of turntables beneath it.

Watch for the sneakers to release soon as select Nike retailers and click here now to check out a few more detailed photos of the shoes.

Nike Sportswear x Eddie Cruz: Nike Air Force 1 Hi Supreme ‘West’ Interview

nike-sportswear-x-eddie-cruz-interview

Nike Sportswear sat down with Eddie Cruz, co-owner of one of California’s premier boutiques, Undefeated, to talk a little bit about the Nike Air Force 1 High Supreme ‘West’ which Eddie designed as part of the East vs West Rivalry Pack. The short video which is less then 2mins long has Eddie telling us about how he was approached to take part in the series and what he does as a stylist to get inspiration for designs. Believe it or not, the Air Force 1 Hi Supreme ‘West’, which is available in stores now, actually takes some ques from womens high fashion with the use of grey python embossed suede. Who would of thought.

Peep the video after the jump.

WMNS Nike Air Force 1 Low – Club Purple/White/Total Orange

In what would appear to be a colorway inspired by the Phoenix Suns Nike has released this WMNS Air Force 1 for all those who can’t get enough of that purp. The AF1 Low sports an upper consisting of club purple in a combination of smooth leather and patent leather accented by a  white leather Nike Swoosh and a white mid-sole. Hits of total orange appearing on the tongue, outsole, Air and pinstripe detailing on the mid-sole and on the Nike branding on the heel tab bring together that Phoenix Suns color scheme. The ladies have defiantly been getting some dope AF1 colorways lately, such as the Nike Air Force 1 Low Birch/Beet we showed you not all that long ago.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium ‘Christmas 2009′

air-force-1-christmas-2009-3

With Christmas pretty much knocking on our doors Nike has just released their Christmas inspired Air Force 1 Low as a quickstike. For the Christmas 2009 version of the AF1 Nike dressed the shoes up in almost an entirely red design from top to bottom. The upper is finished off in red premium leather, as is the Nike Swoosh, with a splash of white on the mid-sole to divide the red upper from the red outsole. Since a completely red pair of kicks isn’t really enough to bring the Christmas theme forward Nike incorporated little specks on the tongue tag and insoles to resemble snowflakes in hopes for a white Christmas.

Given the Quickstrike status of this AF1 we aren’t quite sure exactly what retailers have received them here in the States so either swing on by your local spots or give em a call to check on availability. Click here to check out a few more photos of the sneakers. Via: Sneak
