Nike Air Force One

Nike Air Force One “Arctic” Customs

Nike Air Force One Arctic Customs

A new custom sneaker has emerged from the Sekure D lab. This is the Nike Air Force One “Arctic” which was a special order done for a customer. Dipping into this his amazing graffiti talent Sekure D covered majority of the Air Force One in a white, blue and black graffiti design which is always a sight to see. The mid panel was done in a simple black and the Nike Swoosh was finished in blue and black whereas the blue is over the black mid panel and as it goes off towards the heel it jumps to black over the graffiti design. I like the way that way done and how the colors were swapped to break everything up, it catches the eye. Sadly these are not for sale since they were a special order but you can rest assure Sekure D will be back soon with something new and exciting to add to the online store. Check out another shot after the jump and be sure to visit the Sekure D website to purchase some of his previous custom sneakers which are still available.

Nike Air Force 1 “Rainbow Glass” by Mateo Acrylics

Nike Air Force 1 Rainbow Glass

New pair of custom Nike Air Force 1s here by Mateo Acrylics. Mateo is calling these “Rainbow Glass” as the sneakers carry a very colorway design from top to bottom. The fading between the colors on the upper is some of the nicest fade jobs i have seen and the multi color sole to match is killing it. Also take notice to the multi colored stitching on the midsole which matches the colors Mateo used on the upper design and the colors used on the sole. Not to take away from the rainbow theme Mateo stuck with the multi color laces which came with the base sneaker. And it goes without saying, no custom would be complete without the customizers tag included, so just like every other pair hes done Mateo added a custom tag to the tongue. Check out more pictures after the jump and be sure to check out the Mateo Acrylics website too.

Nike Air Force 1 “Shutterlashes”

Nike Air Force 1 Shutterlashes Custom Sneakers

Mateo-Acrylics presents use with a new custom today in which he used a Nike Air Force 1 as the base shoe. Being dubbed ‘Shutterlashes’ these sneakers have a lot going on from the stripes on the back, to the crazy stitching on the middle all the way up to the fade on the front. Mateo-Acrylics has been known to do some crazy stitching designs when it came to his Ether Series so this time around he decided to freestyle the stitching a bit and see how it comes out. The finish on that is amazing and the little red dots thrown in are a nice touch to go along with the red laces and the fade on the frontal which goes from red to black. Not to take away from the designs Mateo-Acrylics left the midsole and sole pretty black. And as of course, as it seems to be a must these days, there is a custom Mateo tag on the tongue. To see plenty more custom sneakers by Mateo-Acrylic check out the website here. Check out plenty more detailed pictures of these Nike Air Force 1 “Shutterlashes” after the jump.

Update: Fake Custom Sneakers

Sekure D Fake Custom Sneakers

Not to long ago we talked about how fake custom kicks have popped up online which duplicate the work of Sekure D along with a few other sneaker customizers. Sekure D has found out that duplicates of his customs are being mass produced somewhere in the depths of China and distributed through numerous online sites or auctions. Who knows what other artists are being taken of their designs and having fakes made of their work. Its a shame the fake market has to now even effect many popular sneaker customizers. All the artists along with Sneaker Obsession ask all of you to please report any findings of these fake custom sneakers you may come across online. You can report them to use and we will pass the word along to the artists or you can contact the artist directly if you know who it is. As we told you before, go directly to the source for your customs. If not a Sekure D custom unless it comes from the man Sekure D himself, its not a C2 custom unless youve bought it through C2 Customs. You get the picture here. Not only are you buying a design which has been butchered, you are getting it on a fake sneaker as well. Its like 2 fakes in 1. Go for the real deal.
