Football national teams from every corner of the globe will soon be heading to South Africa to battle it out for a chance to take home the most honored trophy in the game, the FIFA World Cup.

In tribute to the world’s largest and most watched sporting event footwear companies have been serving up various shoes sporting colorways resembling those of teams competing for the FIFA World Cup. We’ve seen designs from Nike such as the collaborations with 6 world renowned artists, and a few from Reebok such as the Reebok Classic “Brazil”, and now we have a look at a little something adidas Originals provided.

In what couldn’t be a better choice of a base model adidas Originals went with a pair of their Samba’s which was originally designed with soccer football in mind. For this specific release adidas opted to put together a design and color scheme honoring England. The upper features a White leather base with a piece of Grey suede wrapping around the toe. A combination of Red and Blue is used for the signature three-stripe logo with an added touch of Blue on the leather heel tab. Along the top of the lace panel a Saint George’s Cross appears on what looks to be some sort of button which may or may not be removable.

If you’re gonna be reppin the English come this June with high hopes they take home the Cup make sure you show your pride and pick up the adidas Originals Samba “England” at HUF.

Taking its cue from the great basketball shoe, this adidas Artillery Mid hits the street with the same TORSION SYSTEM midfoot support and classic basketball feel you’ve always loved from adidas. Earlier this month adidas presented those participating in the 2010 Celebrity All-Star Game with their very own pair of Artillery Mid’s and now the brand is following up with a few versions for the general public.

One of the first Artillery Mid’s to hit distributors is this Black/White/Aluminum model. Black is used throughout the base of the upper and fabricated from a soft full grain leather while Grey mesh is applied around the ankle. A Grey textile lining is stitched up to match the mesh and accents of Yellow and White are scattered around to add some nice contrast to the shoes. TORSION printed on the lateral side of the upper makes it clear the Artillery Mid incorporates adidas’ signature TORSION SYSTEM for adaptive midfoot support and a rubber and grooved cupsole provides maximum traction on or off the court.

Towards the end of the month in January Freshness officially released some preview images of an upcoming Adidas Equation they had their hand in designing. Freshness unfourently didn’t release any details on just when exactly the sneakers would release, or where they would be available to purchase, nor did they really produce a clear photo of the sneakers. So we’re gonna go ahead and fill in the blanks here and provide you with some legit photos of the shoes and some info on where exactly you can get em.

Black ripstop nylon is featured through the upper with White 3M reflective material on the three stripes and on the White pattern throughout the upper which we’re told is inspired by dazzle camouflage. The Freshness logo appears on the logo in it’s usual Lime color and Lime contrast stitching is used throughout to coordinate with the logo.  As you may know by now the Adidas Equation includes a removable ankle collar which can convert the basketball shoe from a high to a low-top on the fly. As said earlier Freshness never announced an official release date but I’ve come to find out that you can pre-order the shoes now on Eastbay where is says they are back-0rdered until March 8th, 2010. Besides this Freshness model they also have the Red Derrik Rose version and the Black Kevin Garrnett version.
