May the force of the three stripes be with you. adidas Originals and Star Wars are back at it for the fall season with a new line of Star Wars-inspired kicks. We’ve shown you several of the sneakers already, and now here we have a look at yet another in the form of the Superstar 2 “Rebel Alliance Ice Hockey”. White patent leather constructs the base of the upper, joined by two shades of blue on the stripes and heel tag and black on the laces and lining. While the color combo itself is appealing enough, the hockey-inspired graphics on the tongue, heel and beneath the translucent outsole are what really make this sneaker unique, especially in the eyes of a hockey fanatic (I see you looking, Jesse). You can find them now at adidas Originals retailers including Overkill and Eastbay.

Star Wars and adidas Originals are going strong this season with a new line of co-branded sneakers honoring several characters from George Lucas’ epic space opera. One of the new offerings this year includes this adidas Samba. The Star Wars-themed sneaker features a black suede and canvas upper with matching leather trim, offset by yellow accents on the stripes and light blue accents on the heel – a colorway said to be inspired by the Jamaican bobsled team. The shoes also include a tongue tag featuring Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and C-3P0 in a Superstar bobsled, along with a graphic of the Rebel Legion logo above the heel spine. Star Wars fans can find the sneakers now at select adidas Originals retailers, such as Eastbay.

New images of the Stars Wars x adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2011 Collection have surfaced, providing us with a closer look at the sneakers we saw in the lookbook last month. Present in the string of photos is an adidas Originals Stan Smith 80′s Mid with an illustration of Darth Vader along the upper, a Campus 80′s honoring the Wampa with a horsehair upper, a Forum Mid dubbed “Galactic Scoundrel” with a graphic of the Millenium Falcon along the side of the upper and an image of Han Solo on the tongue, and finally, the aptly named Skywalker. The entire collection is available now at finer adidas Originals distributors worldwide.

adidas Originals and Porsche Design continue their partnership this season with a new range of luxury sportswear under the Porsche Design Sport brand name. The Fall/Winter 2011 offering of the Porsche Design Sport collection is made up of several new apparel items, a variety of footwear and a few random accessories. Our focus here is, obviously, on the footwear line. Seven sneakers and 2 boots make the cut this year, many coming in at least 2 colorways. The models include mostly running and driving shoes along with individual styles for golf and tennis. Each sneaker is elegantly designed with sleek lines inspired by luxury Porsche sports cars and is crafted using the industry’s most advanced technologies. adidas Originals WMNS Samba – Grey/Pink & Iron/Mint

After 61 years, the Samba is still to this day one of the most popular adidas shoes. With over 35 million pairs sold since 1950, there’s a reason the Samba never lost it’s popularity. Perfection never goes out of style.

The last time we took a look at indoor soccer silhouette it was in an “Aluminum” colorway for the guys. Today, we bring you a peek at two new colorways for the ladies that recently popped up at retailers. Available in Grey/Pink and Iron/Mint color schemes, both feature a soft suede upper with leather detailing on the three-stripes and heel tab, along with a grey low-profile sole unit with a gum outsole.

adidas Originals Decade Hi – Fall/Winter 2011 Releases

Photos from the Bread & Butter trade show continue to surface in the weeks following the event. Just the other day we gave you a look at a new denim makeup of the JS “Wings” that was on display in the adidas Originals booth and now here we see two colorways of the Decade Hi that were also showcased at the event by adidas. Shown in White/Fairway-Eggplant and Navy/Red-White color offerings, both sneakers feature a suede upper with leather on the toe-box, mesh around the collar and perforations on the tongue. Each pair also has a white midsole and what looks to be a gum outsole. The sneakers are expected to begin arriving at select adidas Originals retailers in September.

Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Wings “Denim”

A few weeks ago, we get a look at some of the goodies in the Spring/Summer 2012 line of Jeremy Scott’s adidas Originals by Originals Collection when photos of several of Jeremy’s new sneaker designs surfaced from the Bread & Butter trade show. Among them was a new denim version of the JS Wings, which is now seen here in further detail, thanks to HighSnobiety. The sneakers feature a stone washed denim upper with bronze contrast stitching throughout, along with an icey clear outsole – blue-tint not included.

Having recently faced an overhaul that turned them from running shoe to boat shoe, the adidas Originals ZX 700 returns to retailers in it’s original form. The classic runner, which is primarily built of soft suede and breathable mesh with smooth leather overlays, comes in a tropical color palette labeled as Ecru/Shablue/Bone. The ZX 700 is probably one of the more popular models in the adidas Originals ZX series, and proper colorways like this surely help to keep the shoes relevant, 26 years after their introduction. The simplicity of a classic adidas silhouette is the perfect addition to any summer outfit. Whether you’re going for a sporty look or casual look, you can’t go wrong with the three-stripes. The brands latest release is what’s known as the “Aluminum Pack” and it includes the iconic Samba and Campus II in Aluminum Grey colorways. Adidas Originals Ledge Mid ST

The new skate-inspired adidas Originals ST collection hit US shores this past spring and has been making waves ever since. We don’t happen to do too much skateboarding, but the adidas Originals Ledge Mid ST has defiantly caught our attention. Inspired by a late 80′s basketball sneaker, the Ledge Mid ST has the look of retro hoops shoe but is built with toughness of skate shoe. Along with a durable vulcanized sole, the shoes over plenty of comfort thanks in part to the extra padding found in the the tongue and ankle.

Here we see the adidas Originals Ledge Mid ST in two colorways that are available now through size? and other select retailers. One pair sports a Harmony/Aluminium/Volt color palette made-up of a leather and suede upper with tumbled paneling on the side and ankle. The second pair goes for a much darker look with a Black/Brown/White colorway featuring a leather upper with suede accents around the heel and tongue.
