In honor of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball over 60 years ago and April 14th, 1947 Nike has produced the Air Max Griffey Swingman Remix in a design honoring Jackie Robinson. The sneakers feature a blue and white color scheme in honor of the team Jackie played for, the Brooklyn Dodgers. Embroidered on the heel of the sneakers if the number he wore ‘42′ along with the date 4.15.47 on the insole. Adding a little something extra to the design is an embossed tonal design on the inner side of the upper showing Jackie Robinson.
