Many of us thought it would never happen, but later this year we will all be proven wrong when Nike SB releases a pair of Nike SB Dunks which many of us were drooling over a few years ago.
Some of you may recall these Gucci Nike SB Dunks which were designed in 2006 in collaboration with Girl Skateboard. After producing some samples and giving the whole world a look at something we all desired at the time news broke that the sneakers would not be release due to some issues within the Girl Skateboard company. There were about 30 pairs floating around which from time to time would pop up online or at consignment shops.
Later this year though that will all change as the Gucci Nike SB Dunk High will be released as a Quickstrike. Details are still pretty slim at this time but the shoes will include the same design as all the samples with a black denim frontal and heel cap, a deep forest toe box and side panel, and a red swoosh.
