Brandon Fants, your regular old sneakerhead just like the rest of us, paid a visit to the Nike Sportswearshop at 21 Mercer St sporting a pair of Bespoke Air Force Ones he recently designed. The crew over at the shop took the opportunity to snap some pictures and share them with the rest of the world. Brandon designed his Bespoke Air Force Ones with purple waxed canvas on the frontal, purple nubuck on the toebox, black patent leather on the mid panel and lace panel, and black croc leather on the heel. Talk about a nice combo of premium materials used on one sneaker. Neon ‘X’ stitching, tongue, and Nike Swoosh wrap up a Bespoke Air Force One which defiantly jumps out at you and will be sure to snap some necks. Juding by the KAWS beanie Brandon has on (pictured after the jump) we would imagine the ‘X’ stitching is a nice tribute to KAWS himself.
DJ Clark himself even happened to be in store at the time and gave Brandon Fants his stamp of approval on the design. Its gotta be quite a feeling to get a comment like that from somebody like Clark, who had designed some of the most talked about Air Force 1’s. Nice job Brandom Fants, we’re loving the final design and wouldnt mind having our own!!
Follow the jump and stay tuned for a look at other Bespoke Air Force Ones designed by sneakerheads just like you and me.
