The Nike SB Blazers shown above recently just appeared in our post about Nike SB March 2009 Releases, atleast to a certain extant. The design shown here which is known as the Nike SB ‘Chicago’ Blazer is actually a collaboration done with Stevie Dread Snyder. Thats right, the Chi-Town skateboarding legend himself is the man behind the design of these SB Blazers. Separating these Nike SB Blazers apart from the GR Nike SB Blazers in the same colorway is the tongue tag which uses the flag on Chicago. The regular GR Nike SB Blazer in this color tone has your basic Nike SB tongue tag. Besides for the tongue tag, and laces which are white here and blue on the GR release, everything is pretty much the same using a colorscheme taken from the Chicago state flag. The two shades of blue on the suede upper with the white sole unit and red inner lining makes up for a pretty fresh looking color scheme on the Blazers.
Uprise out in Chicago is holding a special release on Febuary 28th to celebrate the release of the sneakers. If your in the Chicago area head on over this coming weekend. Follow the jump for a few more shots.
