The Air Penny Hybrid known as the Nike Air Penny 1/2 Cent has been previewed online in the past and in magazines but now thanks to the crew over at Vault in Harlem we have some nice detailed pictures of the sneakers.
The Nike Air 1/2 Cent is a hybrid design which uses a little bit of each previously designed Nike Air Penny model. Youll notice the Royal Blue Nike Air Foamposite material throughout the design on the upper, along with the Nike Swoosh design from the Nike Air Penny 1. The black part of the upper resembles the Air Penny 2, and the Penny logo on the side of the upper comes from the Air Penny 3, just placed in a different position. Besides those main elements theres other features taken from previously released models, such as the sole unit which is reminiscent to the Air Penny 3 sole unit, just altered to be an icey sole, but we dont wanna drag it out a long list.

Oh yea, as we mentioned in our previous posts about these sneakers, Lil Penny is also included into the design of the sneakers, on the heel and on the sole. Maybe we will see a comeback from the little guy in upcoming Nike commercials?

nike penny’s 1/2 are finally release here in sacramento ca. ghetto clue had them for retail $190. sold out within minutes. they only had 8 pairs to begin with. only had one of each size. shoes are icy hot! fit true to size. they have icy bottom like the foams. $300 on ebay plus craigslist. better to get online than to camp out in the rain and waste money on gas to drive around looking like i did. heard bay are should have 3rd week of march. huf nor darkside havent got yet.
