Van, the designer of the Barack Obama Air Force Ones is back with a brand new Los Angeles Lakers AF1. A client contact Van simply for an LA Lakers inspired design, giving Van creative control over the design for the most part. Instead of just a simple gold, white and purple colorway which one may come to expect from a Lakers inspired design, Van designed the Air Force Ones around the Lakers NBA Championships.

The custom Air Force Ones Van designed include a white, black and purple colorway on the upper with ‘The Finals’ written across the frontal in script. The rear panels of the shoes show Kobe Bryant with the Larry O’ Brien Trophy, one image shows him kissing it as he holds it and another one shows his big smile with the trophy next to him. Besides the sneakers themselves Van also designed a custom sneaker box to go along with that, made up to look like the LA Lakers Championship Ring.
