Jordan Brand has set plans in motion to bring back the Air Jordan 12 next year alongside the Air Jordan 10. We’ll see both new and original colorways of the AJ12 hit store shelves including the return of the ever-popular “Playoff” model. The Air Jordan 12 “Playoff” first came into the spotlight back in ’97 when Michael Jordan wore the sneakers during Game 6 of the NBA Finals to help the Chicago Bulls overcame the Utah Jazz in a best of 7 series. The shoes released shortly afterwards and have since appeared once as a retro in 2004. The 2012 model looks identical to the previous two, sporting a black leather upper contrasted with white accents on the mudguard and outsole, silver on the Jumpman badge, and red on the tongue and heel branding. Jordan Brand hasn’t confirmed an official release date yet, but early reports are speculating that an April release is in the works. Stay tuned to Sneaker Obsession for further information.
