Last August, Nike Sportswear took the Bespoke Experience to its flagship store in Tokyo, Japan to allow sneaker fanatics on the other end of the globe the rare opportunity to create their own Bespoke Air Force 1. We’re now starting to get a look at some of the sneakers that were designed during the week-long visit as images of the first two pairs completed hit the web. Showcased below are Bespoke Air Force 1’s created by hdpn and T.Y.. The first pair is the handiwork of hdpn, who used a premium patent leather in orange and yellow for the base of his upper, complementing it with a digital camo print in the same colors on the mid-panel, and an elegant gold leather on the Swoosh and heel tab, the last of which is marked with the number 9. For the sole, he chose to go with a white midsole, red stitching, alternating yellow and orange piping, and a lime green outsole. Multi-color eyelets complete the look. The second pair shown is by T.Y., and it contains a glossy black leather upper with a glittery rainbow effect, a sticky gum sole, and yellow and orange accents on the inner Swooshes and heel spine. Grey appears on the heel tags, where a black Swoosh is embroidered on the left shoe and the letters JPN are embroidered on the right. Get a detailed look at both sneakers below and stay tuned to see what else our friends in Japan came up with.
