One might say that the boys over at Nike SB have somewhat of a drinking problem, having previously released sneakers inspired by Heineken, Cerveza Tecate, Jagermeister, Newcastle Brown Ale and Mickey’s Malt Liquor. If that’s not enough to prove an intervention is called for, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Crown Royal” is sure to do so. Scheduled to release sometime next spring, the sneakers, constructed mainly of suede with leather detailing on the Swoosh and heel tab, incorporate a purple and gold colorway that’s inspired by the signature colors of the Canadian whiskey company. Early speculation puts the sneakers in store by April 2012. We’ll keep you posted on further details between now and then.
