For the launch of Eminem’s new book, ‘The Way I Am’, Shady Records and Jordan Brand got together, again, for a collaboration on another classic Jordan silhouette. Some of you may remember the Air Jordan 4 “Blueberry” that was a promo and contest winner only shoe released in conjunction with Eminem’s album Encore awhile ago. This time around Eminem got to collaborate on his favorite Air Jordan shoes, the Air Jordan 2 (II). The Jordan 2 is shown in a black, red, grey and white colorway which includes handwritten lyrics from Eminem’s songs on the ankle collar and toe trim. The collaboration also includes a limited-edition “The Way I Am” Jordan T-shirt as well. Only 313 pairs will be made available to the public. 313 also signifies the area code for Detroit, MI where Eminem was raised. Proceeds from the shoe will go towards Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers Foundation, an organization primarily dedicated to helping disadvantaged youth in the state of Michigan.
No official release date or price has been mentioned at this time but when they are released they will be sold exclusively through the Jordan Brand ‘Flight Club’ webstore. Via: PaulRosen

My boyfriend is like ‘in love’ with Eminem (but so am I so its okay) and for our 6th month anniversary I would love to get these for him.
