It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s…the Air Jordan 4?!? Superman meets the Joker on the Air Jordan 4 “Doernbecher”. Designed by a kid named Isiah at the Doernbecher Childrens Hospital in Portland, Oregon, the sneakers mix a Joker-like colorway of black, blue and green, with the insignia of Superman across the tongue. Several arrows, which we’re sure have some sort meaning that we’re unaware of at this time, appear throughout the soft suede upper, along with what’s believed to be a headshot of the young sneaker designer on the heel. An icey blue outsole with underlying graphics that read “Seven” and “Slam Dunk” in Batman-inspired action bubbles complete one of the most outlandish, non-custom Air Jordan’s we’ve ever laid eyes on. An official release date for the Air Jordan 4 “Doernbecher” is unknown at this time, but rest assure we’ll keep you posted on further details as they develop.
