Big things are coming from Jordan Brand in 2012. In addition to re-releasing several original colorways of the Air Jordan 12, Jordan Brand is gearing up to reissue the Air Jordan 4 “Military”. We first caught wind of the “Military” AJ4 returning next year back in February, and although no previews were made available at the time, the news itself was enough to have Jordan fanatics hootin and hollerin.
If you’ve been waiting to get a peek at the shoes, here you have it. Today brings us our first look at the Air Jordan 4 Retro “Military”. Reported to be a sample, the sneakers have some minor differences between the original model and the previous retro that was released in 2006. First are the “wings, which appear to be constructed of leather as opposed to rubber and look to be white instead of grey. Next is the mudguard. If you recall, the previous models had a grey leather mudguard, which you can see here has been replaced by white leather to match the base of the upper.
It’s unknown at this time whether or not the production version will carry the changes we see on the sample, so we’ll just have to wait until more photos surface. Until then.
