Many will agree, when it comes to the Asics Gel Lyte III, the shoes look their best in bold colors. Every once awhile, though, a subdued color palette comes along that catches everybody’s attention for whatever the reason may be. In this case it’s a pair of boot laces that have a rather basic, black-on-white Gel Lyte III looking like a winner. The sneakers feature an all-black leather upper above a white midsole, which is anything but flashy. However, boot laces and a gum outsole give this Gel Lyte III a unique look that’s not so boring after all.
The shoes are available now through Japanese-retailer atmos. A US release isn’t likely.
