Several Jordan Brand sneakers have gone under the knife recently to face a transformation that involves the use of Air technology. The Air Jordan 10, 11, 12 and 13 have all been chopped up and refastened with Air units as has the Air Jordan 2. Evidently, Jordan Brand is highly interested in Nike’s Air technology as more sneakers appear with Air Max cushioning.
Here we have a look at the Jordan Trunner Max, the last Jordan Brand silhouette to adopt Air. The shoe should look pretty familiar as it’s a hybrid version of the Jordan Alpha Trunner that was introduced not all that long ago. With the original upper in tack, an Air Max 97 sole provides a whole new look to the Trunner, not to mention a whole new level of comfort.
One of the first colorways of the Jordan Trunner Max to release will be this Black/Green-Red version, which is scheduled to retailers sometime next month. If you’re not feeling the color combo, rest assure there will be plenty more to come in the future.
