Jordan fanatics went wild earlier this year when it was confirmed that the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” would return to retailers during the holiday season. And rightfully so. The AJ11 “Concord” has proven to be a fan favorite among consumers, many of whom are continuously on the hunt for an original pair from ’95 that has still has an icey clear outsole that has yet to turn yellow.
Today, we bring you the very first look at the 2011 version of the Air Jordan 11 Retro “Concord” that’s scheduled to hit shelves during the holiday rush. The sneakers maintain their original appearance from the midsole up, with black patent leather wrapping around a white mesh and leather upper. The outsole is where things take a turn though. The clear icey outsole that was once one of the main selling points of the shoe has been replaced with a blue icey outsole. A lot of people have made it clear they’re not a fan of the new blue outsole that’s appearing on all the retro’s, so it’ll be interesting to see how many people’s opinions change about the Concord’s now that its been revealed that they’ll have the same blue-tinted outsole as previous retro’s.
Take a closer look at the Air Jordan 11 Retro “Concord” below and let us know whether or not the outsole swap changes your mind about copping a pair. We’ll keep you informed on a release date.
