Custom Air Jordan’s are a touchy subject. While some sneaker heads drool over the custom creations and wish Jordan Brand would take note, others feel the sneakers come off looking like they belong on one of those sketchy websites selling fake Jordans for $39.99.
The debate has come up several times this year thanks to Mizzee and his custom Air Jordan’s inspired by other Air Jordan’s. For example, the Air Jordan 6 “Cool Grey” inspired by the Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey, the Air Jordan 6 “Bordeaux” inspired by the Air Jordan 7 “Bordeaux” and the Air Jordan 6 “Hare” inspired by the Air Jordan 7 “Hare”.
Adding to the controversy he’s already stirred up, Miz presents the Air Jordan 6 “Cement”. Inspired by the Air Jordan 4 “Cement”, which is scheduled to return next year, the sneakers feature a white leather upper with grey-and-black speckles on the tongue, midsole, and heel tab, complimented with a dab of red on the branding. Can’t say they’re one of my favorite customs from Miz, but they’re definitely clean to say the least.
