Taking a break from his routine SB Blazer creations, sneaker customizer JBF works his magic on a pair of Nike Dunks.
The custom sneakers, dubbed “Geisha”, feature soft purple suede on the toe, midfoot and Swoosh sections of the upper, while a white floral-print brocade material lines the remaining panels. Subtle hints of blue appear on the heel pull tab and on the JBF-branded tongue tags for some added flavor, and a white quilted lining ensures a comfy fit.
If you haven’t guessed it, the sneakers have a Japanese-style theme to them. Their nickname, Gesiha, is the word used to refer to traditional Japanese dancers, and brocade is a silk-like material that’s been used in Japanese fashion for ages.
