Are you a serious sneaker collector who happens to have $60,000 laying around? If so, there’s a 10-pound, sterling silver Air Jordan 1 on eBaycalling your name.
According to the seller, eaglesbyfly, the solid-silver Air Jordan 1 is 1-of-10 given to Michael Jordan by his wife for his 32nd birthday. She took his game worn rookie shoes to a jeweler and had them mold the sterling silver ankle weights. Similar sneakers have once been on display at the Chicago Science Museum, Michael Jordan’s Restaurant and at the golf course Michael use to play at, and one even appeared in a MCI phone commercial.
To sweeten the deal up, the seller is throwing in an autographed 1994 Air Jordan 1. The sneakers were obtained through an auction at the school Michael Jordan’s kids go to. The shoes themselves are of high value, especially with MJ’s signature gracing the outer heel.
