It’s no longer a rumor. Ray Allen’s Air Jordan 13 PE will definitely be releasing.
After rumors surfaced last week about the possibility of Ray Allen’s Celtics-colored Air Jordan 13 PE being released, detailed photos of the sneakers themselves have hit the web, confirming there’s a release scheduled for the near future. While Allen is known to have a locker full of Player Exclusives, these are without a doubt one of his most memorable pairs as they’re the shoes he wore back in February when he went on to break the NBA’s All-Time 3-Point Record in a game against Kobe and the Lakers.
Word has it, the sneakers, dressed in a Boston Celtics colorway of white leather and green nubuck, will be limited to 2561 pairs to coincide with Ray Allen’s new 3-point record and will release exclusively through House of Hoops. An exact release date hasn’t been revealed just yet, but sources are pointing to June 29th as the launch date.
Keep in mind that this is all hearsay right now and that Jordan Brand hasn’t confirmed the number of pairs or the release location or date yet. All we know for sure is that they’re coming, soon. As we know more, you’ll know more. Until then, get a detailed look at the sneakers below.
