Today’s a big day for Jordan info. Having already brought you the release details for the “Quai 54 Pack“, a look at a Carbon Fiber Air Jordan 1 Phat and word of a rumor circling about the possibility of Ray Allen’s Celtic-Colored Air Jordan 13 PE releasing later this month, we now bring you the official release date for the Air Jordan 5 Retro Black/Varsity Red-Metallic Silver as well provide you with some new images that really surfaced.
If you recall, this particular colorway of the Air Jordan 5 was last released in 2007. It was also the inspiration behind this year’s BIN Retro 5 Premio. The sneakers contain a black nubuck upper above a matching rubber sole, complimented with the standard 3M tongue in silver. Contrasting hits of white appear on the “23” on the outer heel and the Jumpman logo on the heel, while red fills in the Jumpman logo on the tongue. Metallic Silver accents the shark teeth on the midsole and an icey blue outsole caps the bottom.
Watch for the Air Jordan 5 Retro Black/Varsity Red-Metallic Silver to hit Jordan Brand retailers on August 6th, 2011. Are these a must-have on your summer shopping list?
