Supra Footwear Skytop II “Flag Pack” – Closer Look

Supra Footwear celebrates Memorial Day Weekend with a special pack of Skytop II’s.

The Supra Skytop II “Flag Pack” includes two pairs of Chad Muska’s signature high-top sneaker, both featuring similar flag designs in entirely different colors. The more vibrant of the two is known as the “Firecracker” and features a patriotic red, white and blue color scheme, obviously inspired by the American flag, constructed from a combination of leather and nylon.

The other pair, dubbed the “Black Flag”, lacks color altogether. The story behind these is that they’re inspired by the flag of Brittany (Bretagne), a region in the north-west of France. In the Brenton language, the flag is called the “Gwenn-ha-du”, which in English translates to white and black, the color of the flag and therefore, the color of the shoes. This pair is constructed entirely from leather and doesn’t include the nylon seen on the other pair. They do, however, have a stained midsole for a unique look all of their own.

Both sneakers are scheduled to release in limited numbers on Saturday, May 28th through Supra’s top-tier 413 distributors.
