Under Armour may have snagged Deion Sanders from Nike, but they’ll never be able to bank off his name like the footwear behemoth. Deion’s history with Nike is forever remembered through his signature trainers, which coincidental started returning to retailers right around the time he signed with UA.
Having already reissued Primetime’s Nike Air Diamond Turf and the Air Diamond Turf Max 96, Nike prepares to bring back the Air Diamond Turf 2 to complete the series. Following up on the sample pair we showed you a few days ago in White/Grey-Teal, here we have a preview of three colorways that are scheduled to release throughout 2012. Included is the aforementioned pair, a Black/White model, and the original fav-favorite, the San Francisco 49ers version in White/Red-Gold. The sneakers no longer feature Deion’s trademark branding as they once did in the 90’s, but that’s not going to stop these beauties from flying off the shelves like the previous retro releases.
We’ll keep you posted on further details involving the Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 as they develop.
