With last year’s reissue of the Nike Air Diamond Turf and the Air Diamond Turf Max 96, it only seems fitting that the Air Diamond Turf 2 makes a retro comeback, too. We speculated that’d be the case when the Air Diamond Turf, once the signature sneaker of Deion Sanders, started arriving at retailers. However, there was no evidence to prove such a thing.
Today, that chances, as we’re presented with our first look at a sample colorway of the Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 that’s being considered for a release in 2012. The sneakers feature a white and grey getup, along with accents of Fresh Water-esque teal nicely placed on the lining and beneath the upper cutouts. My relocation of the 90’s a little hazy these days, but I do not believe this to be one of the original colorways.
As stated earlier, this is just a sample of the Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 and the specific colorway hasn’t been confirmed for a release, yet. The DT2 itself has though, slated to make its big retro return during the Spring of 2012. Stay tuned for further details.
