The Air Jordan 12 Low “Black Patent” will be the second low-top version of the Air Jordan 12 to release this year, following the OG “Taxi” pair that hit store shelves in April as a quickstrike. Having previewed the shoes numerous times in the past, we can now finally tack a release date to them.
It’s recently been revealed that the Air Jordan 12 Low “Black Patent” will hit JB retailers on May 28th, for a retail price of $115. Unlike their previously-released quickstrike counterpart, the sneakers will see a much wider release. Similar to the Air Jordan 12 “Rising Sun” that released back in November 2009, the sneakers feature a perforated upper with a patent leather mudguard. The materials and colors are obviously different though, with the “Black Patent” containing a black nubuck base. Minimal accents of Varsity Red appear on the Jordan branding across the tongue and heel, which just can’t do enough to brighten up the look of this subdued Air Jordan 12 Low.
As mentioned, the Air Jordand 12 Low “Black Patent” is scheduled to officially hit retailers on May 28th, 2011 for $115.
