The sneaker community has yet again reached new heights as Dee Wells and Sean “Paper Chasr” Williams announce “The Class: Sneakers, their impact on lifestyles, culture and people in the 21st Century”.
An 8-week seminar scheduled to be held in New York City this June, “The Class” curriculum is based on several sneaker related topics and issues that are regularly discussed on Dee and Sean’s weekly podcast, Obsessive Sneaker Disorder. The class will also cover current events, upcoming sneaker releases and provide some insight on how to get your foot in the door at the top footwear companies. Attendees can also expect Q&A’s with industry insider to learn from and discuss sneakers with.
The cost of the 8-week class is $300, which pays for the printed materials you’ll receive, the guest speakers you’ll hear and interact with, and the retailer discounts you’ll be honored with as a student. The classes will be held at a yet-to-be-named but very famous location in Times Square. Most likely Foot Locker. It hasn’t been disclosed how often the classes will be held, but more than likely they’ll be weekly.
If you’re in the New York area and you’re interested in registering you can do so here.
