Roger Federer’s Nike Lunar Vapor 8 Tour For French Open 2011

Failing to claim his 5th Major title in Australia earlier this year, Roger Federer will soon descend upon Paris with hopes of having better luck at this year’s French Open. Since it’s a Major’s event, Nike Tennis is outfitting their top athletes with new some new gear to ensure they look their best on the court when millions are watching. They’ll be supplying Federer with this new colorway of his latest signature model, the Nike Lunar Vapor 8 Tour, which the tennis star debuted at the Australian Open in a White/Black-Yellow colorway. The full-length Lunarlon, Flywire-infused sneakers feature a light grey upper with accents of red on the tongue, lining, flywire thread and midsole. We’re not given a clear shot of the back of the sneakers, but it appears that the right sneaker (on its side) has an “F” on the heel tab with the number 8 on the outer heel, leading us to believe there must be a “R” on the left sneaker. It’s unknown at this time if this particular colorway of the Nike Lunar Vapor 8 Tour is scheduled to release.
