Checkered patterns are a big thing during the spring and summer seasons. Not just on shirts and shorts, but also on sneakers. So far, this year, we’ve seen the picnic blanket pattern appear on the lining of a couple Nike Air Force 1’s and on the ankle of this Nike Dunk High. A black and white checkerboard pattern around the ankle of the sneakers spoils what would of otherwise been an all-black Nike Dunk. As far as materials go, the upper is built from a combination of leather and mesh with the latter material covering the toe-box and the mid-panel. According to JD Sports, they’re the exclusive retailer for this particular Nike Dunk, so if you’re wanting a pair you’re going have to lay down some extra greenbacks for an international order.
