The Air Jordan 2 returns this year with a modern twist. Picking up where they left off with the Air Jordan 1 and its Air Jordan Alpha 1 successor, Jordan Brand gives the Air Jordan 2 a new undercarriage to boost its performance and make it a more desirable sneaker among todays athlete. Anybody who’s played basketball in a pair of Air Jordan 2’s before knows, while they look great on your feet they don’t provide much cushioning. And that’s vital in todays basketball sneaker. To fix that, Jordan Brand equips the Air Jordan 2 with a full-length Max Air sole in a model they call the Air Jordan 2 Max. This particular colorway, which we’ve seen 3-times before and is the only colorway of the Air Jordan 2 Max previewed thus far, features an original Air Jordan 2 colorway made up of white and varsity red. A release date for the Air Jordan 2 Max has yet to be confirmed, but those of you looking to get a pair now can find a few pairs at Kicks-Lab.
