When scans from Jordan Brand’s Fall 2011 line-up sheet surfaced back in January it was discovered that the Air Jordan 5 would be returning this year in its original Black/Varsity Red-Metallic Silver colorway. Today, we get our first look at the actual sneaker, thanks to our friends at Modern-Notoriety. This will be the third time the Air Jordan 5 Black/Varsity Red-Metallic Silver has released as a retro since it’s original introduction in 1990. The first retro came in 2000, followed by another in 2007. A release date can’t be confirmed at this time, but according to the line-up sheet, the sneakers are slated to hit retailers sometime in August for $150. We’ll keep you posted on further info as it develops.
