Brooklyn Dom, from the world-renowned Brooklyn Projects skateboard shop in Los Angeles, California, has teamed up with Nike SB on an SB Dunk High honoring one of his favorite bands. Inspired by Slayer and the album artwork for “Reign In Blood”, considered to be one of the best trash metal albums every made, the sneakers feature a mixture of premium materials including suede, denim and leather, in shades of brown, black and red. Rumored to be limited to 666 pairs, a quickstrike release is scheduled for June 2011. Detailed images of the shoes have yet to be revealed, but Brooklyn Projects has released a video promoting the upcoming release, giving us a quick glimpse of the sneakers as Slayer’s “Raining Blood” plays in the background.
