With the return of every great retro comes along a string of old and new colorways alike. When Nike brought back the Ken Griffey Jr.s signature Air Griffey Max 1 in 2009, they mixed the original colorways in with some new ones, creating for a pretty nice lineup where not one sneaker wasn’t desirable. They’ll be doing the same when the bring back the The Kid’s second signature model this summer. Along with the original “Fresh Water” colorway, which is sure to be one of the top sellers, Nike will be releasing the Nike Air Griffey Max II in this new Seattle Mariners-inspired colorup featuring a combination of Midnight Navy/White-Chlorine Blue. According to Nike’s catalog, this specific colorway of the Air Griffey Max II is scheduled to release on May 28th, 2011.
