The Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” needs no formal introduction. It’s one of the most scared Air Jordan’s to ever be released and is considered by many Jordan enthusiasts to be one of the grails of the signature Air Jordan series. The shoe’s last released in 2009, and if you recall US consumers got the shaft, as they were only released overseas and weren’t distributed within the US. The community erupted with a wave of negative comments, bashing the brand for their international-only release with a lot of people feeling as if they were betrayed by the company. The hatred eventually turned into cheers of joy when it was revealed the sneakers would be releasing throughout the US sometime this year.
Shown here in crisp, clear photos, provided to us by MarqueeSole, is the US-bound, 2011 version of the Air Jordan 3 Retro “True Blue”. Looking beautiful as ever, AJ3 “True Blue” remains true to it’s roots with a white leather base, grey and black elephant print, and scattered accents of True Blue and Varsity Red. A release date has yet to be announced, but it has been confirmed they will definitely be available in the US, so you can sleep easy knowing that.
