Since Michael Jordan was born during the “Year of the Rabbit”, Jordan Brand is doing big things this year to honor the Chinese Lunar New Year. Earlier this year they released the Air Jordan 2011 “Year of the Rabbit” and later this year they’ll be releasing a “Year of the Rabbit” edition of the Air Jordan 7. We first learned about the Air Jordan 7 Retro “Year of the Rabbit” last week when Jordan Brand dropped the ball and provided us with the first photos of the sneakers (which doesn’t happen very often). Today, we’re given another look at the sneakers, this time by eBay seller Air Randy, who has a few sizes in stock and ready-to-ship if you can match his $280+ price. The sneakers put to use the same Light Silver/Metallic Gold-Varsity Red–White color scheme that was used on the Air Jordan 2011 “Year of the Rabbit”, which is also similar to that on the Air Jordan 7 “Hare”. There’s still no official release details available for the Air Jordan 7 Retro “Year of the Rabbit” at this time, so stay tuned to Sneaker Obsession for further details and check out the new photos below in the meantime.
