Dave’s Quality Meat is no stranger to the world of footwear collaborations. Over the years, the retailer, based in the heart of New York City, has teamed up with the likes of Nike, Vans and adidas. It’s been quite awhile since those days though and the DQM name has remained quiet in the sneaker community ever since. That’s all about to change though as DVS has called upon DQM to help them introduce their new silhouette, the Uno. This limited edition version of the made-to-skate sneaker features a red suede upper with brown leather around the collar and on the tongue. Cord boot laces are stretched through metal eyelets and DQM branding is visible in across the tongue and on a small hang-tag fastened to the side of the upper. On the bottom end of things, you have a white vulcanized sole accented with a green pinstripe along the brim.
The Dave’s Quality Meat x DVS Uno is slated to release this Saturday, February 5th, 2011, in-store at DQM and through their webstore. General release colorways of the DVS Uno will hit the market sometime during the Spring.
