When Jordan Brand decides to bring back one of the signature Air Jordan model’s as a retro you can usually depend on their being a few separate colorways to pick from throughout the year. So when news first surfaced on the return of the Air Jordan 12 Low “Taxi” come this Fall, we knew instantly that that wouldn’t be the only pair we’d see a retailers. We weren’t quite sure though if it would be another OG version or an entirely new colorway.
As of today, we wonder no more. MarqueeSoleposted this previously-unseen Air Jordan 12 Low on its webstore, which tells us the sneakers are in the running for a retail release. This never-before-released AJ12 Low features a black nubuck base containing perforated detailing similar to that on the Air Jordan 12 “Rising Sun”. A black patent leather mudguard and a black midsole and outsole complete the dark, subdued look. Accent colors are minimal with red and white worked into the branding and the heel tab.
There’s been no official annoucement from Jordan Brand on a release date, but those looking to grab a pair now, and willing to pay a premium for them, can get them now through MarqueeSole.
