Now that Carmelo Anthony is officially a New York Knick, there’s good reason for him to lace-up his Jordan Melo M7 “Syracuse” player exclusive sneakers. And there’s just as good enough reason for Jordan Brand to release them. The sneakers in no way coordinated with the colors of ‘Melo’s former team, the Denver Nuggets, but they’re a perfect match with his new Knicks uniform. The sneakers contain orange throughout the entire upper and midsole, and unless our eyes are playing tricks on us, it looks like the upper is infused with Flywire, which isn’t a standard feature on the Melo M7. The Jumpman logo on the ankle is embroidered in white and navy blue accents the outsole and laces to coincide with the colors of the Syracuse Orangemen. This is the first time we’ve ever seen the sneakers and little is known about them. It’s reported by a user on t.sina that the sneakers are just samples and there’s no current plans to release them at this time. We’ll let you know if we hear otherwise.
