With the Air Jordan 13 Retro “Playoff” slated to hit retailers later this month, Jordan Brand provides us with some beautiful studio photos of the sneakers. As many of you will recall, Michael Jordan debuted the Air Jordan 13 Retro “Playoff” during the 1998 NBA All-Star Game in which he was awarded the MVP with 23-points and 6-rebounds. Later that year, Jordan led the Bulls to their sixth NBA championship in eight years, averaging a league-leading 32.4 points per game in the playoffs while often wearing the black/true red-white AJ 13. That was MJ’s last championship with the Bulls and in honor of that the shoe’s have since been nicknamed the Playoff’s. This will be the first retro version of the Air Jordan 13 Retro since it originally released in 98. An official in-store release date is scheduled for Saturday, February 26th, 2011, for $160. If you’re looking to order a pair now there’s an assortment of sizes available now on eBay.
