Ray Allen made his 10th appearance in the NBA All-Star Game last night as the Eastern and Western Conference came face-to-face at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Boston sharpshooter, who came into the event this year as the league’s newly awarded all-time 3-point leader, finished the night with a total of 12 points in 17 minutes of game time. It would of been 15 if he didn’t toss up a 3-point air ball, but we won’t get into that, instead we’ll focus on the kicks Ray wore throughout the night. Jordan Brand outfitted Sugar Ray with this player exclusive edition of the Air Jordan 2011 for his 10th All-Star Game appearance. The sneakers obviously take on a color scheme that coordinates with the Eastern Conference uniforms, mixing grey with blue throughout the upper and adding in a touch of white on the outsole, laces and branding.
More than likely this particular version of the Air Jordan 2011 will remain exclusive to Ray Allen and won’t be releasing to the public. If we hear different we’ll let you know.
